Seven going on eleven!

With lipstick, style and sass, this seven year old is overflowing with attitude. She loves the camera, loves to pose and her confidence shines through! Her mother thinks she has her hands full now, but she doesn't have a clue what she's in store for.

Almost a month away and counting...

It won't be too much longer until little Miss A will be here and the fun will begin. I can't wait to hear the funny stories from the hilarious Grandmother. Until then I leave you with a glimpse of the package.

We're bad and we know it!

Energy and attitude exploded on the scene during this shoot. One was chasing squirrels, one had a pose for every camera click, and the others had opinions too. I couldn't help but stop every now and then to catch my breath and laugh with the moms! What fun!

There were so many great shots from this shoot it was hard to decide on which one to post...but since she was the only girl, she fits the bill!

What a fun person

even though he doesn't like photographers! Their barn, woodshed, and home sit on a beautiful piece of property overlooking geese on the pond. P had his wife by his side and his dog at hand, and I went to work.

And oh how I loved Trouble!! This big baby of a German Shepard wiggled all over with excitement as I rubbed him!

A Beautiful little bulge.

This coming February life as they know it will change forever. Their depth of love will grow deeper, arms of compasion will grow further, and the desire to protect their child will be unyielding. It's something you can't understand until you experience it yourself, and I'm so happy for them....and the Grandmother too, who is poised to crown a princess. Sorry, A, I beleive you'll have to hand over the dynasty.

and these two look Great in them. Hats add character, charm and a playfulness that I adore. They showcase a personality and bring it to life! What a fun time we had on a beautiful day with two great siblings, A & A!

what's your style of photography? Fun, causal, creative, and captivating. First and foremost is fun, we have to have fun! I love to laugh and get to know my clients. Second, I'm casual, very casual. I'm not big on posed portraits, I like a natural look. Thirdly, I'm creative! Here's where I thrive. I love different, crazy, playful and elegant. It's the mood and spontaneity of the moment, it's heart-stirring, spine-tingling and the extraordinary combined. It's what sets you apart. And finally if you combine the first three, fun, casual and creative you'll get Captivating. It's the picture you can't stop looking at, the one you show everyone, and the one you'll keep forever. You were supposed to be here yesterday...

were the first words out of my grandmothers mouth when I was a day late for her 97th birthday. She may be old, but she'll still tell you what she thinks in a heartbeat. Forget the loving, squeezy, kissy grandmother image you are so familiar with, mine lets you know what she thinks of your husband, his job, how behaved or in my case how misbehaved your kids are, and lastly how long it's been since you've been to see her.

She's definitely one of a kind. I love her and I'll be back home soon for another go around with her.

If I owned a young hip clothing company...

this would be my Christmas advertisement. These two teens are naturals in front of the camera. I could have spent all day with L alone! If I ever get so busy that I need an assistant, I've found her. Hair, eyes, smile, no smile, hips, elbows, etc. L. knows how to get her message across!!

That creative talent must come from her parents!

I had a ball getting to know this family. It was so neat to do edgy teen shots then turn around and take a and cherished moment between the grandparents. Finally, I was honored to be in the presence of the best science teacher in Ninety Six. Mrs. M, my kids and I think you're the coolest!!!

The wedding is set for March 2007, but the fire is already in their eyes!! Oh to be young and in love.

I'm In Love..

with Bandit. This 8 month old Beagle won over my heart the moment I stepped out of my car. I couldn't believe how calm he was. This is definitely the type of dog you should check into if you have small children!! Just look at him, I wish I could squeeze him now!!

Regardless of my strong loving feelings.... he's taken! Oh well, it was fun while it lasted! Thanks B & L for really fun time!

It has to be! Little E is a definite show stopper and take a look at her grandmother, yes grandmother! I don't know about you, but I don't recall either of my grandmother's looking like this!!

A Great Family!

I had so much fun this past Saturday with a Wonderful family. I did have a little trouble keeping up with the smaller one, as you can see him ahead of me!

However I did manage to get him still for a minute with some Chex Mix and a juice box! Thanks J for a great day!
