I'm so so so excited...

it's almost impossible for me to keep it all contained! I'm working with several incredible commercial clients on displays that are going to be absolutely amazing in both Greenwood and Greenville. They are going to be colorful, upbeat and wonderfully fun! Oh, and get this, last week I was contacted by one of the largest publishing companies in the US for custom publishing and they've asked me to be their Greenville rep! Oh yeah, oh yeah, I'm doing the happy dance! LOL! I'm also working with the Humane Society of Greenwood on a fantastic package for their silent auction so stay turned for more details.

Not only am I busy on the commercial end, this time of year gets very busy with clients trying to get their sessions in before Christmas. In order to have prints in time for Christmas gift giving your session must be booked on or before November 17th.....October is fully booked, and November only has a few openings left, so if are thinking about a session please contact me asap.

Boys...everywhere!!

I'm so excited to be photographing so many boys!! Baby boys, teenage boys and brothers...I'm telling you lots of boys - I love it! Here are a few recent session shots. Baby K. and his dad - wow - he's only 5 days old and beautiful.

He was perfectly content

in his daddy's arms. Little P. loved being next to his daddy. I have so many cute daddy shots it was hard to choose from them all. Oh, and Little P. may look tiny, but he is as stout as they come. I was amazed at how strong he was. Aren't babies just adorable!

News Flash - I am now booking sessions into September, August is jammed packed, and September is filling quickly. This year is flying by! Wow!

Also, I have received several inquiries asking when is the latest date to book a session and have prints back before Christmas so I decided to post it here... That date would be November 15th. It feels so weird to be talking about Christmas when it's 100 degrees outside - but it will be here before I know it and I'm preparing early this year! (famous last words!LOL!!)

Lights, backdrops, softboxes, sounds like a studio? It is! It's been in the works for some time and it's finally complete. Just look at the shots! Of course my heart still belongs to natural light, but I must say... these studio shots Rock!!!

Now I can play even when it rains!! Speaking of playing I had so much fun last Friday with these 3 sisters!! We changed outfits, backdrops, poses, etc. Check out the high key modeling shots!! Talk about fun! Wow!!!

Yes, that's right, it started raining! This session ended early and even though we didn't finish, I couldn't resist posting this picture of little E. The last time we played together she 6 months younger and had just learned to walk. Now she runs around everywhere flashing those gorgeous baby blues!

It's amazing how fast children grow! Not long ago I was photographing Miss. L* when she was a squishy little newborn; now she's bright eyed in her hot pink tutu. Oh, and that gangster is her big brother who is ready to protect her at any cost!

It's beach time. Time to relax and enjoy the warm sunny ocean breeze. Stop dreaming and get back to reality... I'll be chasing children, applying sunscreen, serving snacks, brushing off sand, and watching the waves dance at their feet. I love making memories.

Speaking of memories... there's a big wedding is this weekend! I hate we're missing it, but I can't wait to hear all about this exciting day. Congratulations Anna Kayla and Greg.

Just a few more weeks

until my new website is up. I'm soooo excited because I've been able to work with the designers to get exactly what I want. It's simple, fresh, and fun! Here's a sneak peek at the opening page.

fun when they are just being themselves. Little brother P. takes advantage of an opportunity to jump up and down on the girls showing them he rules!

This reminds me of my childhood...

on my grandmother's farm. I remember long walks in the pasture, fishing in the pond and working my butt off in the garden. As much as I despised the garden work, I'm thankful for these experiences and want my kids to experience nature as I did. Thank you Connie Maxwell for the Oasis, we love it!

Are you ready? We are. After dying 18 brightly colored eggs, eating 5 and hiding 16 plastic ones, we are counting down the days. Not only is it going to be Easter....it's Spring Break!! What a wonderful time of year!

She also offers bridal and formal packages. I met Tammie for the first time today; when she arrived at my home I knew I would have a picture before she left. Beauty runs in the family

A*G* was a little shy when she arrived for her photo shoot, but with the help of my son's hamster and my daughter's kitchen set she warmed up quickly and even cooked my lunch. Thank you so much A*G*, it was delicious!

Miss. H* is 14, and that's not a typo, yes 14!! My kids think she's the best babysitter in the world! I am blessed with great neighbors!

He stole my heart....

at only 9 months old. Little J is such a cutie, and a boy from head to toe. This is my sister's fourth child, the others are girls and I'm thinking he's going to rock her world!! he he he!!

I'm looking for several models to assist me with building my porfolio. I need a toddler and two teens(juniors or seniors). There will be no charge for your session and any pictures you wish to purchase will be discounted. The pictures will be used on my website slideshow, and in advertising flats. This little abandoned barn is

right down the road from my house. I love old barns, big trees and pasture fences. It reminds me of my grandmother's farm growing up where we would climb trees, run through the pastures and work in the garden.
