Little Miss E. was ever so pleased to show me her bicycle, trampoline, scooter and other toys, but she was CRAZY WILD about showing me how she could flip backwards on her swing! WOW!! She's so tiny yet so amazing!

Fun times 2!

Ok.... so at first everything seems a little awkward - new surroundings, being in front of a camera, strange photographer lady - but all she needed was her best pal and WOW! Meet Georgia! She's my newest Senior Model from Emerald High School and what an awesome girl! We moved fast, changing clothes in the car, shooting at a junk yard and then in a daisy field - it was soooo much fun! Georgia... you're welcome anytime, I love you, you're KNOCKOUT GORGEOUS, and I'm sure you'll never forget my address (wink, wink, laughing as I write this)!!!

Little J. loves his weed eater and blower, but on this particular day took a special liking to chopping his mother's monkey grass with his chainsaw! I chased him through the backyard, into the front yard and all around on his plasma car to get the most incredible pictures! Get ready mom!

Senior Model Jessica

WoW! We had so much fun at this shoot! Needless to say it was filled with excitement as my assistants (my two children) assisted every way possible! Jessica is my Senior Rep for Ninety Six High and will promote Karen Holubek Photography. As a model, she'll have rep cards with incredible discounts and freebies to offer her friends. Carvina

Sadly she passed away during birth May 2, 2008, however she has touched many lives and will continue to do so. Her parents have blessed me with their courage and strength. I was contacted in March by her mother, Christina, through the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Organization. This incredible charity pairs Professional Photographers with parents who experience early infant loss and allows them to hold on to their memories forever. Little Miss. K was a ball of energy with an incredible personality and awesome imagination! If you know her mother then you know where she gets it! I had so much fun playing pretend, jumping, stomping, and talking about eating bugs - but the "Little Old Man" with is mustache was the icing on the cake!!! Have a look for yourself!

for the most outrageous, over the top, must have graduation announcements and party invitations you've ever seen.... and isn't my model TDF! Yes, I had the pleasure of photographing Mr. Man of few words, unbelievably mysterious, and don't even get me started on his build. If you're one of the lucky ones you'll get the password to his gallery for the up close and personal views!! Thanks Wade!

We found the coolest spot....

for absolutely awesome photos - and these two were up for anything I threw at them. Yep, I think I made a lasting impact when I asked the little man to get in the briar patch, how in the world could I have known that briars are one of his FAVORITE things! Actually I didn't even notice the briars for looking at his eyes... just look below and you'll see what I mean. His sister, A., who holds the title of Young Miss Teen Spartanbug, was a natural in front of the camera. We started outside, then moved into the studio for several outfit changes. Oh My Goodness, it's soooo hard to believe she's ONLY fourteen.

This little Sweetheart

was beyond adorable! Although she was a little shy at first, she quickly warmed up and began telling me what she wanted to wear. Just wait until you see the other fun Valentines shots, they're TDF!!

I'm back!!

Oh our Christmas was Wonderful. We stayed here in town and enjoyed being together and playing games. If you don’t have UNO Attack it’s a must! Oh my goodness my sides were sore from laughing so much the first night we played!

2007 was such an amazing year! God continues to bless me and my family and I’m so so so excited about 2008. Speaking of the New Year I am booking sessions into February and March. For those of you who have inquired about Spring sessions now is the time to schedule them because Springs gets really busy.

And to start the New Year off with something fun, exciting and in the spirit of giving, the first three people who email me stating they read the blog today will be able to apply their session fee towards their print order – basically meaning your session will be FREE!! (This is for a session of up to four people, new sessions or those already scheduled!) Oh yeah, oh yeah, uh huh, uh huh, I’m doing the happy dance, I’m so excited! I love stuff like this! I've been good....I promise.

I'm sure Santa's heart melted when he saw this one. She's the cutest little thing, and was constantly on the go as I chased her around my studio! Then at just the right moment... snap... and a classic moment was captured. This is what I love best about photography... giving parents a moment in time that they'll cherish a lifetime.

It's almost Christmas...

and I'm close to a panic attack with everything that we have going on. School plays, church plays, costumes, cookies, gifts, parties, elves... Oh My Goodness, these crazy elves that visit my house each year are going to make me insane! As you know last year they toilet papered our family and dining room one day, then threw eggs out of the refrigerator another. This year they seem to have calmed down some - well, except for the silly string they arrived with and the snowball fight they had in the kitchen with mini marshmallows last night.
